FILM PLOT OUTLINE: Media mogel Elliott Carver, who runs The Tomorrow newspaper, is creating huge global stories so he can have the exclusive rights. He sets his sights on creating a new world war and being in the centre to give front-line footage.

INTERESTING MUSICAL FACTS: By this stage in the Bond series, getting the chance to do the Bond title song was such a huge prize there were dozens of entries. Eventually there were just two songs left – one by Sheryl Crow and one by K D Lang. The K D Lang song was used at the end credits.

INTERESTING FILM FACTS: In the film Bond appears in full military dress. This has happened just three times in the series: 1) Sean Connery in You Only Love Twice, 2) Roger Moore in The Spy Who Loved Me and 3) Pierce Brosnan in Tomorrow Never Dies.
