INTERESTING MUSICAL FACTS: For the first time in the Bond series John Barry is not involved in the score or the main title song. Barry regularly fell out with the producers and made up again. George Martin and Paul McCartney wrote the main title song and sent a demo to the producers. They liked the song but wanted a female to sing it, but were told if they didn’t take Paul McCartney they couldn’t have the song.

INTERESTING FILM FACTS: Q doesn’t appear in this film. Timothy Dalton was short listed for the role but felt he was too young and intimidated to follow in the footsteps of Connery.
