INTERESTING MUSICAL FACTS: French composer Eric Serra’s very modern and experimental score was hated by most people. The producers actually had to bring someone in to rescue the tank chase sequence. There was no collaboration between song and incidental music.

INTERESTING FILM FACTS: Pierce Brosnan was originally offered the part in 1986 for The Living Daylights, but was heart-broken when he was unable to take the role due to being contracted to an American TV series. Bond had been absent for seven years when Brosnan appeared in this film.
