INTERESTING MUSICAL FACTS: French composer Eric Serra’s very modern and
experimental score was hated by most people. The producers actually had to bring
someone in to rescue the tank chase sequence. There was no collaboration between
song and incidental music.
INTERESTING FILM FACTS: Pierce Brosnan was originally offered the part in
1986 for The Living Daylights, but was heart-broken when he was unable to take
the role due to being contracted to an American TV series. Bond had been absent
for seven years when Brosnan appeared in this film.
