FILM PLOT OUTLINE: James Bond travels to Jamaica to investigate the death of one of his colleagues where he encounters the evil Dr. No – an agent of S.P.E.C.T.R.E.

INTERESTING MUSICAL FACTS: Just 3 days before the music for the film was due to be recorded, the producers contacted composer John Barry in a panic. They were unhappy with Norman’s heavy calypso feel and felt it needed something with a bit more grit. Barry squared off the music and added in the middle 8 to the Bond theme. Barry and Norman both claimed to be the composer of the theme until a court controversially awarded the rights to Norman almost 40 years later proving the old saying "Where there's a hit there's a writ"..

INTERESTING FILM FACTS: Dr. No is the only film in the Bond series not to contain a pre-title sequence. Also, Q (Desmond Llewelyn) is missing from this film – this only happened twice until he died after The World Is Not Enough.

Since you are clearly a keen spy, you must be alert for more information. Here's a clue.
