FILM PLOT OUTLINE: Bond receives a golden bullet with his number on it – a calling card from assassin Scaramanga. M gives Bond leave to track him down and eliminate him first.

MEMORABLE BECAUSE: Nick Nack the midget servant who gives Bond a hard time for his size. Bond posing as his own waxwork to trick Scaramanga and kill him.

INTERESTING MUSICAL FACTS: Regarded even by Barry as one of his weakest works. The words to the song are extremely provocative (“He has a powerful weapon, he charges a million a shot”!)

INTERESTING FILM FACTS: Maud Adams plays a leading lady and later appeared again in Octopussy – the only leading woman to appear twice in the Bond films. However, rumour has it she appeared in View To A Kill in an unaccredited role as an extra in a market as well.
