INTERESTING MUSICAL FACTS: Various people were approached for the song “For Your Eyes Only” and Sheena Easton was the last person Bill Conti would have thought of until the producers suggested her. The first version of the song didn’t contain “For Your Eyes Only” until 3 minutes into the track and title director Maurice Binder wanted the song to start “For Your Eyes Only”. So Conti went back to lyricist Mick Leason and said “Look the song has to start ‘For Your Eyes Only’ after that I don’t care what the words are!”

INTERESTING FILM FACTS: For the first time the singer of the Bond song appears in the opening credits. After Moonraker, Bond fans were crying for a return to a more traditional Bond story away from the space –age fantasy. They were given that with For Your Eyes Only.
